World blues music, drawing inspiration from virtually every corner of the globe. Passionate and original sounds on Weissenborn, Tricone and a wide range of other instruments.
Self-taught multi-instrumentalist, in love with slide guitars, deep groove, rhythm and open tunings, Jim is exploring with his heart the multiple sides of his favorite instruments. He is playing mainly slide guitar (National Tricone and Hawaiian Weissenborn lap slide guitar and Chaturangui - Hindustani 22 strings slide guitar-), but also sings and plays charango, ukulele, mandolin, epinette des vosges, 6- and 12-string rhythm guitar, n'goni and kora.
Jim is drawing inspiration from a diverse field of cultures to create new musical emotions with stringed instruments. Jim is influenced by every rhythm from each country or continent.
Jim have toured in Sweden, Norway, Germany, Cseck Republic and France.
